Doctor beats woman in club, treats her injuries, then attacks her again (video)

A young woman was violently beaten by a man in a nightclub and she went to the hospital for treatment only to discover that the doctor was the same man who beat her up.

After the beating at the club, Anastasia Dmitrieva, believed to be in her 20s, went to the hospital so that her injuries could be registered, allowing her to make a complaint to police over the nightclub incident. But she was shocked to find that the man who is to treat her injuries is the same man who beat her up. He treated her all the same, then proceeded to attack her again. Anastasia filmed the moment she was attacked for a second time by the man at a hospital in Neryungri, Russia.

As he hit her, he is heard saying: "Many witnesses will prove that you were the first to attack me." He then threatened her that she would "face jail" if she pursued a complaint against him. A nurse who was observing the attack appears to be embarrassed by the violent behaviour and unsuccessfully attempts to block the camera recording the incident.

The senior doctor named in reports as Vladimir Naumov, has been fired by the regional health ministry.

The doctor claimed to officials that he beat the woman while defending a midwife who was attacked by a gang of women at the club.
He said: "I couldn’t stand there and watch this massacre. Any man would have tried to stop such a fight."

He admitted that at the hospital he had been "angry and full of adrenaline" seeing the woman again, hence the repeated attack. However, his claims were rejected and a decision was made to fire him over his behavior.

Lamenting the loss of his job, the doctor said: "I have been working here for one and a half years. During that time, I saved many people and now everything I did is ruined by this video"
