Ben Bruce, Reno Omokri condemn the arrest of f Innoson motors chairman, Innocent Chukwuma by EFCC

Yesterday, Nigerian industrialist Chief Innocent Chukwuma popularly known by his company's name, INNOSON, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC .

According to the anti-graft agency, his arrest followed his refusal to honour invitation by the Commission having earlier jumped an administrative bail granted him in a case being investigated by the Capital Market and Insurance Fraud Unit of the Commission's Lagos office.

Reacting to news of his arrest, key opposition figures Reno Omokri an Senator Ben Brruce took to twitter to blast the APC led administration accusing the government of tribalism.
Reno Omokri faults the antigraft's agency for arresting the automobile company chairman when it hasn't arrested the likes of Maina and Babachir.

Recall that Babachir was dismissed by President Buhari for his involvement in the mismanagement of funds meant for IDPs. Maina on the other hand is wanted for committing $2 billion fraud while he was chairman of the Presidential Tax force on Pension Reforms.

How can the same EFCC that has not arrested Babachir, a proven thief, or Maina who was given security, now go and arrest Innocent Chukwuma the founder of @innosonmotors, the only Nigerian manufacturing made in Nigeria cars? Is it a sin to be a 5 percenter in Buhari’s Nigeria?

I find the arrest of Innocent Chukwuma truly troubling and demoralizing for Nigeria’s business environment. @innosonmotors is the only Nigerian car manufacturer. The job of government should be to do everything in its power, within the law, to promote them and build their morale.
