MOVIE:Is the new 'Spectre' movie worth your time? Here's what critics have to say about the much anticipated 007 movie.

-- --
The latest James Bond movie 'Spectre' just hit theatres November 6, 2015, but it already held its UK premiere, and the reviews are coming in.

Here's what critics have to say about the much anticipated 007 movie.

 The Guardian

"Sam Mendes' second consecutive Bond outing again passes its physical with flying colors...That goes equally for the pic’s unsurprisingly superb craft contributions, which admirably demonstrate how the franchise’s technical bar has been raised in the last decade, without sweating much blood on the innovation front."

The Daily Telegraph

"Daniel Craig is one of the best Bonds and an equal to Connery. That great big handsome-Shrek face with its sweetly bat ears has grown into the role.

"Five stars: It's a swaggering show of confidence from returning director Sam Mendes and his brilliant cinematographer.

The film's color palette is so full of mouth-watering chocolates, coffees and creams that when the story moves to Rome, the city looks like a $300 million, fascist tiramisu."

The Hollywood Reporter

"The final hour disappoints, with too many off-the-peg plot twists and too many characters conforming to type. While its commercial prospects seem bulletproof, 'Spectre' ultimately feels like a lesser film than Skyfall, falling back on cliche and convention."

Indiewire

“In places, it works well. The two and a half hour runtime is indulgent, but Mendes does at least make “Spectre” move quickly. Craig’s clearly having fun with a slightly looser, less grim-faced Bond, while pulling off the action with his usual crunchy aplomb.”
The Independent

"Thankfully, as an action movie, Spectre is every bit the equal of its predecessor, Skyfall. For at least half its running time, this is as good as Bond gets – a rip-roaring and very stylishly made thriller with tremendous production values.

The hitch is that, in its latter stages, Spectre struggles to reconcile its own internal contradictions. The filmmakers want to have it both ways: to provide slick entertainment while also giving us new insight into Bond’s emotions and into his past."

The Times

"This fourth outing for Daniel Craig as James Bond is achingly cool, as sleek and powerful as the silver Aston Martin DB10 that races through the movie."

Directed by Academy Award winning Sam Mendes, the upcoming film stars Daniel Craig, Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Stephanie Sigman, Andrew Scott and Rory Kinnear.
