Nigerian Banks And Their USSD Codes For Checking Account Balance on Phone

Most banks in Nigeria introduced the USSD Codes system of checking account balance to make bank service easier and faster. The system allow you to transact banking activities directly from the comfort of your home or anywhere using your mobile device. With this codes, you can either check your bank account or carrying out other bank transactions without the need to visit the bank. In this post we will be taking a look at all the Nigerian banks and their USSD codes for checking your bank account balance straight from your mobile phone.

ACCESS BANK: To check your Access Bank account balance, Simply dial *901*5#, then enter the last 4 digits of your BVN PIN and you will see your account balance.

You can also do this via Sms by BAL(Space)Account Number to 08160000612. Note SMS charges is N5.

DIAMOND BANK:  For diamond bank dial *710*556*PIN# on your mobile phone. you can also do this via SMS by dialing 0700-300-0000, press 1 to see account balance option, and then insert the 16-digit number of your ATM card then press #.

ECOBANK: For Ecobank, you can check your account balance from your mobile phone by dialing *326*0#. Note the number you are dialing from should be the number you used in registering the bank account. 

FCMB BANK: Dial *389*214# on your mobile phone. Also just like that of the Ecobank, make sure the number you are dialing from should be the number you used in registering the bank account. 

FIRST BANK: For 1st bank users, dial *894*00# on your mobile phone to check your account balance.

FIDELITY BANK: Dial *770# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

GTBANK: With GTbank, register for mobile banking scheme with *737# and then dial *737*6*1# from your mobile, then follow the on-screen prompts to check your GTBank account balance.

HERITAGE BANK: For heritage bank, simply dial *322*030# on your phone, then follow the on-screen prompts. follow through the balance menu and you will see your bank account balance.

KEYSTONE BANK: For Keystone bank  *322*082# from your mobile phone if you are MTN, AIRTEL & 9Mobile (Etisalat) users or *085*082# if you are a Glo user then follow on-screen prompts to register, enter your account number choose a 4-digit pin and confirm and then go through the menu, you will be presented with your account balance.

STERLING BANK: Dial *822*6*account number# from your the number your use in registering the bank account.

SKYE BANK:  Dial *833# from your phone, then follow the on-screen prompt, you will get your account balance.

STANBIC IBTC BANK: Dial *909# follow the on-screen prompts to get your account balance details.

UBA BANK: Dial *919*00# from the phone number you used in registering your bank account and then enter your 4-digit PIN.

UNION BANK: Dialing *389*032# from you phone number. Note to use this, you need to register for the service via your bank.

UNITY BANK: Dial *389*215# from your mobile phone and enter your 4-digit PIN. 

WEMA BANK: Dial *945*0# from the line you used in registering with the bank account.

ZENITH BANK: Dial *966*00# follow the on-screen prompts.
